My battery is in the rear (Corvette Z-06). Any suggestion how to get power to the unit?

Looks like you can not power off the Blinder manually from inside the car(outside of shutting off the engine) correct?

Turning the jammer off when driving cannot be done with this version.
I understand that there maybe a fix in the works for this

Since the heads are onlu auto taped is there a problem with them coming off in a car wash.

hmmm. interesting. so it sends info to the cabin of the car wirelessly?

i would do this in a second if i believed that a cop wouldn’t chase me anyway. imagine doing - say 85 MPH in a 65. and he can’t pick you up all the way to passing by him. i think he’ll be really suspicious. wouldn’t you?

appreciate any thoughts or guidance on this.

thanks jim

We use the same tape that hold the moulding to the side of your car. My truck has had the heads installed this way for over 4 years

When do you think the “fix” will be ready?

According to the cheetah web site, the wireless kit has a 5 second auto shut off. So right now thats the best there is. Better than no shut off!

Are there any states that laws have been passed making jammers illegal?

I just installed a blinder m20 using the wireless kit and tested it.. there is no auto shut off that i was aware of. I held the tester there for well over 5 seconds and using my phone camera to see the infared light, the jammer was still on the entire time. I’m asking the cheetah site about this.

Installed M40X. I jammed a laser with front units. When I passed, he shot me in the back and was jammed again from the rear units. He followed me and was looking for the jammer. Black car/Black Jammer. He saw nothing. Officer pulled up next to me and gave me a dirty look then took off. They need a cause for search here such as drugs, etc. I’ve been reading the other posts here. My M40 came with a power switch that mounts inside. I can shut it off anytime.

Will this work with a Hybrid type vehicle/SUV? I know it still has a “normal” 12v battery also but will it be able to detect when the vehicle is in use?

I don’t think this kit is a viable alternative to a normal install until it has an on/off switch. Laser jammers are still legal in most states, and I want to keep it that way.
