Cheetah Advanced Technologies, which is based in the UK, has been designing some very interesting equipment that allows the interface of radar detectors and laser jammers, to other devices such as GPS units, helmet display modules and audio alert systems.
Their USA office sent me some of their new equipment that we tested on my Harley and all I can say is awesome!!
One of the short comings of having a laser jammer on a motorcycle, is that the small speaker that is included with the Blinder, Lidatek and other units is frequently it is just not loud enough to be heard!
Cheetah has solved this problem with their introduction of three external alerting devices, their helmet node, the audio node, or their light node.
The light node simply attaches to your handlebar or fairing and during an alert, starts flashing a bright yellow LED.
The audio node has a small built in speaker with an audio out jack, that would allow you to connect to a motorcycle intercom system.
Then the helmet node is a small led light system, that mounts inside your helmet, that flashes when your device is activated.
They are planning on launching their US website within the next few weeks and to begin actively marketing their devices to other dealers here in the USA.

Yes, we are hard at work to get our website finished and our product line ready for launch here in the U.S.
I have been testing and using several of these products myself and i am very pleased with there performance and ease of use.
I look forward to seeing others being able to use these products as they not only simplify installation, but also will allow a centralized location to receive all alerts wirelessly.
Looks like some very interesting products!
