I am very excited about a new product that we just started carrying on RadarBusters, it is a Stealth Radar Detector case.
Radar detectors are prohibited in all commercial vehicles over 10,000 pounds in the USA, and in all vehicles that operated in Virginia and in several provinces in Canada.
The Beltronics STi Driver was the first “stealth” radar detector that could beat all radar detector detectors, including the Spectre, that are used by police and truck enforcement officers.
However, a downside of the STi and many other radar detectors, is that they are designed to be mount on the dash and/or windshield, an area that is easily visible to police and other motorists.
Through contacts we have in the industry, a “Stealth” radar detector case was developed that attaches to the sun visor and conceals your radar detector, so now your undetectable radar detector is now even more discreet and hidden away.
The Stealth Case, looks like a CD wallet or a garage door opener pouch. The right hand pocket fits your Bel STi radar detector, while the left pouch can hold sunglasses, wallets, cell phones and more.

I have been trying to figure out a way for a month now to find a more discrete way to mount a radar detector in my car. I considered gutting out the front part of the detector and wiring the sensors to the front grill of my car. Then, I thought about mounting the whole detector in my grill and getting the extension remote put in the dash. Since remote systems are so expensive I figured it was futile to get a detector because I live in VA. Now all I would have to do is hardwire the RD so the wires wouldn’t be showing.
Thanks
Where will the wires go? How do you hook it up with the wire from the cigarette lighter?
Connery,
You use the direct wire cord and connect that to the fuse box

Since there’s no hole in the visor case to access the unit’s power receptacle, did you cut a hole in the visor’s side or top to plug the pwr cord through? There’s not enough clearance to plug the cord in inside the compartment and run it out the existing opening.
