Roy,

Could you test to see if the radar antenna is mounted in a way that it has a clear view road, will it act as a third front laser sensor? And if it does, does it activate the front shifters if the detection is done by the laser sensor on the radar antenna, and not by the ZR4s?

Thanks, DJ

Can’t wait to see the other test…The ramp up while it might be good by escort standards it wasn’t that confidence inspiring hopefully that improve their ramp-up I guess I am just a sucker for the V1 and Escort 8500 x50 ramp up

I agree even though the ramp up was not V1 or X50 like it is worlds better than the PATHETIC STI-R/STI/RX65 ramp up. It is not excellent but it is acceptable. The ZR4 paired with Veil seem like it would be the way to go

LOL @ Steve. Your attempts at stealth even fail here!

RacerX looked inside of the radar antenna and there were no LED’s to receive laser

Great stuff Roy. I got to get one of these now…
The ramp up seemed completely acceptable to me, virtually Identical to my 9500I.

@roy, uhh LEDs transmit light, not receive it. IR sensors look different then LEDs (think TV remote & IR sensor on your TV)

See our testing video regarding the ZR4. The rear sensor is on a different pulse rate then the front and if you place the rear as a third front sensor, you reduce effectivness

How much!?

Looks completely overkill, in a good way :) Probably way out of my price range, but looks absolutely awesome.

I am new to this discussion! I would like to install the 9500ci in my Truck (Lexus LX570) would love the tips on where to mount front jamers (high or low) on grill, whether adding a VAIL coating to my lights (front and/or back) and lisence plates would add protection and what are your thoughts are about VAIL coating. One thought I had, was if it would be a good idea to have a kill switch on the Jamers so that once you have safely return to a legal speed limit you can disable them and let the cops get a reading? This may make them happy, rather than suspicious. What are your thoughts?

I’m impressed with the performance of the ZR4. How does this jammer differ from the ZR3?
